Welcome to the rain
The weather has changed. Cool temperatures in the evenings and the first good rain, the type that soakes into the ground, not the heavy down pour that splashes onto the land and runs off taking the top soil with it and destroys our farm roads. So it was a good day for farming and a rainy day for tourists.
Now is also the time to clear the gutters, check the drains and clean the storm water drainage.
In the winery we borrowed all the equipment together that is needed to bottle the champagne (thanks Robert!). The little Alpaka (Einstein) is doing well. Balu the dog is naughty as always and the cats snuggle up on the warm underfloor heating.
