Mothers Day and labeling the second .... third ....fourth $@%#%^

Have I mentioned that labeling is my favourite past time? This love is radically deteriorating into hate. The front and back label seem to fight each other or in any case they are keen to overtake one another. The result is a number of labels stuck together and the whole process comes to a standstill.
Something slightly more pleasant happened this week in the form of a phone call from Jae who bought one of Juliet's (my faithful dog that died in December) puppies and named it ...wait for it... ROLF. Now here is a picture of him. I can see the resemblance to my remaining dog Balu, his brother.
Meanwhile, we are busy emptying the wine store by selling off the "old" wines to make space for this year's production. The first lot for Holland is already on the truck and I will bring it to the harbour on Monday. The second lot for Germany will leave on Tuesday. My wine store has never been as empty and organized as its been today.
On Mothers Day the restaurant was brimming with guests and fine smells wafted up from the kitchen. Some 4 generations of mothers from grandmother to grandchild have been spoilt by the children and happy faces were all around. The weather was playing along and sent the most stunning beautiful day any one could have wished for.
